The best mexican food youll eat in California. There are no chefs behind the counter, just magicians. I don't know what they do to the food to make it so incredible, but whatever it is I hope they never stop. Do yourself a favor and get the California burrito, it's insane. Eat here.

This is a grocery store that also sells prepared food. You order at the front counter and pick up at the back. While it is a grocery store, there is an eat in section that has plenty of seats.
I ordered 3 different tacos (carnitas, asada, and chicken). The chicken was dry, but the carnitas were excellent with a slight crisp. My kids found their burritos and quesadillas to be large and filling. The quesadilla had all the meat pilled in the middle section with none on the sides! -

First time for lunch. Had the street tacos and they were awesome. I like supporting local and small business. I recommend getting there at 11:30 before the lunch crowd and get the salsa on the side just in case it to hot for your taste buds. Bottom line is I highly recommend!
Cons: Parking is small and ordering is odd. -

This place is awesome:
* Parking is a PITA - It's small, awkward and (often) crowded.
* It's really a grocery store that also makes food on site, so the restaurant is kind-of an afterthought.
* Ordering is uncomfortable - you stand in a line squished in the grocery store section trying to stay out of people's way in aisles that are barely wide enough for two people to pass.
* Service is non existent - The people at the register are generally willing to take your order as long as you keep it simple.
* Picking up your food from the food prep area requires sharp elbows and persistence pushing through people waiting for their food or trying to shop. Hopefully you grab the right meal off the counter.
* Seating is in funky woven wood patio furniture that might have been cleaned. If not, grab a napkin.
Once you get your food, you'll be like "dang, this was totally worth it". The three best things on the menu IMHO are carnitas, carnitas and carnitas. Outside of that, YOYO but I'm betting it's awesome. -

Establos is my favorite Mexican spot in Camarillo. The burritos are always good and portions are huge for the price. When I'm craving some asada fries as well they do not disappoint! Cashiers sometimes are a hit or miss but the guys in the back who cook are always friendly. Mmm.. I want a burrito now just thinking about it! Haha.
